I guess you haven't seen what players like James Harden mean to their teams. Rockets have jack squat and Harden, and about the same record as a team you wouldn't trade ONE player off of?
I'd give up Favors, GSW pick, Jazz 2013 & 2015 1st, & Burks for an All Star of Rondo's caliber.
Fill the team in with JJ Hickson, Boozer's amnestied contract, David West, specialists like Korver who add way more than Foye, get Iguodala to terminate and sign a multi-year deal...fill in like this, but first take Rondo and run with it.
Favors is a big cost but the way I look at it is a sum of C + PG. Rondo plus Favors' replacement is going to be much better than anything the Jazz will be able to fill in the point guard hole with. Plus, the Jazz defense problem starts on the perimeter. I like the defense of Rondo, Hayward at the 2, and am serious about overpaying Iggy at the 3 for 2 years or so. Keep Sap and replace Jefferson with a player who gives a damn and that team would be a solid top 4 seed, especially considering Hayward's growth.
Wow. That is an AWFUL team. Rondo can't shoot the three (25%), Iggy can't shoot the three (31%), Sap can't carry a team, and you can't get a replacement for Favors.
Why are so intent on giving up Favors and THREE first round picks when Boston (if they are even going to move Rondo) would most likely rather have Al?
I like Rondo, I would LOVE to have him and Favors together. He is not a number 1, and building a team around him is crazy. Look at Boston.
Building a team around Favors, with Hayward, Rondo, Kanter is a much, much, much better idea.

Who interests you most as far as potential trade targets?
I know some on here think Wall is a bust, but I would go out for him. Not going to require as much as rondo and has the potential to be better than Rondo. Id move Milsap, Burks and three picks for him. You might get me to bite on swapping Kanter for burks, but would be tough. I still see Favors as borderline untouchable. He is an anchor on the defense and has good BB IQ. You hold on to players like him even if they dont avergae 20 points a game.
C'mon Zu, take one for the team!!!
Whats funny is that ESPN did not even rank Wall in there top 25 under 25. A complete joke of an article...Why do I countinue to pay for this **** year after year? Really just been to lazy to cancel.
