As bad a booz? really? The guy is the best shot blocker we have had since the 2006 AK.

Gasol had 12 points, 12 easy points in Q1, on Big Al. Blocks are nice but do not tell the whole story. Sometimes you can get blocks from playing lazy D: let the guy get by you a bit and then block from behind or the side. Thus he gets a lot of good looks but you get a block or two.

Agreed. Anyone who watched the SA game could see AJ's inferior defense on display. He cheated on D and went for steals on numerous occasions - failing miserably. Blair, Splitter and Duncan exposed AJ.
 
I was pleased to see GH playing decent defense. His passing/court vision/defense is better than advertised. He's going to be a good player for a long time, and he's definitely going to improve.

obviously everyone here wants Hayward to succeed, but come on. you're just trying to see something where nothing existed.

he did nothing in this game. zip. he played 34 minutes and his "passing" and "court vision" resulted in ONE assist, ONE rebound, two turnovers, and only seven shots.

if he was playing as well as you described, it would be apparent in the numbers (see the Lakers game). in this game, and about 75 others this season, it wasn't
