Kind of a cruel law. People getting abortions aren't generally really excited about it, they just understand that they can't care for the kid and being aborted is better than being born to parents that don't want you or being stuck in foster care your whole life. This law makes me sick.

Not always the outcome but yes yo do have a point. Make sure they know the counseling is available and leave it at that. Everything does not need to be mandatory. We are adults and can decide what is best for ourselves. Government (federal, state, county and city) needs to stay off our backs.

Not everyone believes that. Also it is legally not murder despite what your personal feelings are.

I also think a background check is fine to be able to purchase a gun. I do not think a waiting period should be applied unless you fail the background check.

Well I am guessing they are adding the wait time because they are thinking the woman may change her mind within the 72 hours?

I'm not quite sure how I feel about this as I am not thinking that 72 hours is that huge of a deal. Lets say they want the abortion on Friday, can't they just file it on Wednesday?

I am pro choice up until 120 days (a little past the first trimester) which is when like 99% of abortions are made. I think after that abortion should be avoided.

Too bad your mom didn't consider the option.
