I can't imagine what the offer would even be but it's nice to see him getting some love as a win now piece regardless. Been playing really well lately, this coming from someone who really disliked his game earlier in the year. The Cavs have nothing to offer for Rubio other than the Brooklyn pick, and they arent doing that.
Rubio would commit suicide. After 6 years being a part of the holy mess that was Minnesota, and just when they are going to be really good they ship him to a solid franchise with a solid roster, and just as things are clicking, he's shipped to a dumpster fire where he would have the "honor" of playing alongside LeBron James for a few months. Then, he would enjoy another year of playing for the worst team in the league, the LeBron-is-gone-again Cavs. The Cavaliers are in the talks about another trade. They have reached out to the Utah Jazz to inquire about trading for Ricky Rubio. (Via. @LegionHoops)
?Now you've challenged LoPo... great job.
He’s saying that LoPo’s honor dictates that he find a trade scenario for Rubio to Cleveland that theoretically works - even if it doesn’t make sense.
Sam Vecenie discussing the Trade Deadline with The Action Network's Matt Moore (Nuggets insider). At the 50 minute mark they are talking about the trade options the Cavs may have and Sam asks Matt if the Cavs could acquire Hood and Favors. Matt Moore says no because he thinks the Jazz have too many better offers on the table. He implies the Jazz have reached out to everyone.
