Utah Trade Deadline Discussion

I have heard that as well. But Beal and Wall have not got along for awhile and had their issues. They also both play better when the other is out.
Ironic isn't it--the team from Washington DC is talented but underachieves because the talented people can't get along.

In my dream he still has cartilage in his knees and finds a new higher gear.

If we are doing dreams lets aim higher k? :) like Steph and KD decide they wants to come play with DM.

I would be incredibly happy with the following going into next year:
PG Exum (defense, athleticism, hopefully a decent corner 3)
SG Mitchell (catalyst for the offense)
SF Ingles (all around guy - compliments everybody on both ends)
PF Parker (much needed scorer - defensive questions)
C Gobert (rim protector, defender, cleans up on offense)
2018 1st
Thabo
O'Neale
Jerekbo
Udoh
Neto
Bradley

Optional:
Burks
Rubio

I would be okay with that, but if we really need to push Ingles to a role player/6th man spot. I think we need two moves this off season.

It sounds like Orlando doesnt really want much for Fournier. They want another wing player back and one report suggested they might have interest in Burks.

Would they do Burks and JJ for Fournier? I would do that deal in a heartbeat if they had interest and even throw in a couple 2nds.

Fournier has the french connection obviously, he also worked with Kokoskov who was a coach in Orlando, and he is a great shooter coming off screens which our team could really use. Also he is a solid spot up shooter.

I would think they would want more... I'd send AB and Hood to get that one.

I think the article referenced has zero merit and AB was a casual mention there. I did see something somewhere (helpful I know) that made it seem like they would just want to get off of his money... seemed silly.

Yeah, I only referenced that article for the stats that I posted.

The rest was based on rumors. I am not sure what they want back based on those though. Some suggest picks to rebuild and some say they want players and some say they just want to move on from him and his contract.

If they took Shumpert and Frye for Hill, the Kings save $8 million next season and $1 million in 2019-20. And it's possible that Shumpert does not pick up his player option if he knows he'll rot in Sacramento. So if Shumpert were to decline his $11 million option for 2019-20, the Kings just made one of the smartest trades in recent memory. They would have found a way to dump a $19 million Hill who they don't want anymore for nothing. So even if Shumpert exercises his player option, the Kings still save $9 million.

Yes I was talking about the proposal I quoted

I figured... just didn't want people to think this was "news".
