Utah Trade Deadline Discussion

If we are going to bring up LeBron, and I'm not joking, his best fit for the next 4 year contract would be with us. If we were able to shed Burks, renounce Thabo and Jerekbo, maybe Udoh, we could have:

PG Rubio
SG Mitchell
SF Ingles
PF LeBron
C Gobert
Exum, O'Neale, our 2018 1st, Bradley

You can't leave Ingles or Mitchell open. Gobert cleans up the paint. Our defense would be unreal. The roster takes pressure off of LeBron having to do everything. And if he is worried about legacy, he would be the GOAT if he brought a title to Cleveland AND Utah.
Our team construction is perfect to plug in an Allstar (or 2). We have rim protection, defense, 3pt shooting, ball movement, exciting youth, veteran depth and great coaching.

I hope this is the approach DL is taking and looking to aquire Allstar/All NBA talent in 18/19 Free Agency.

I know it is fashionable to attack Dan Gilbert about the mess in Cleveland. I won't defend him, but I will say Lebron was an actor not a mere spectator in the drama that got them to this point.

Lebron insisted on JR Smith, Iman Shupert and supported that awful Tristan Thompson contract, he got the players he wanted. He got the coach he wanted. He calls the plays he wants.

I would be incredibly excited to have Lebron on the Jazz, and forever nervous about the scorched earth he could leave behind.

Yeah but Vaughn sucks lol. But it seems like Favors’s market is cooling down. Bucks probably don’t need another center now.

I'd sign the guy to a minimum deal tho... He's young... liked him in the draft. He may be a locker room problem or something though.

DL wouldnt give him the run of the place. DL wont buckle to him and Quin aint Ty Lue.

So I guess the Bucks are out of any discussions for Fav now. It may be that there isn't much of a market for Fav and he is going to stay with us. If we are able to sign him in the offseason, that would be fine with me. If he leaves and we get nothing for him, then I will be disappointed.

Interesting trade by the Bucks. They get better front court depth but Zeller probably doesnt play much. This seems more like cover for injured Teletovic.

I think he thought he was out by the trade deadline. I wonder if he and his manager are concerned with the lack of interest?? Perhaps this has led to his best basketball in years over the past few weeks.

Watch Detroit and tell me Bullock wouldnt be a great replacement to Hood. If you can get him and a 2nd rounder, I think that's a good deal. Detroit might not want to deal him though since he is so cheap for this year and next.

Tyler Zeller isn't very good. And he's definitely not the defender the Bucks need. I wouldn't say his acquisition completely removes the possibility of the Bucks acquiring Favors.
