What's new

Utah VS New York 9pm ET / 7pm MT

I don't know what everyone is bitching about - despite the refs incompetence (on both ends) I thought it was a fun game to watch.

Jazz have almost no offense to begin with - you take Hayward off the team and I think they were lucky to score as many points as they did. I could see Burke ****ting the bed from a mile away. He came in so amped up thinking he was going to put the team on his back, he ended up taking himself out of his game. He wasn't even coming close on his misses.

I liked the 7 airballs too and Aldrich looking like an all-star.

Shved and Aldrich are probably most of the reason

After going all that time with no 3 game win streaks it's nice to get some wins in spurts

8-2 post Kanter.

Rudy's post-Kanter stats almost exactly the same as when I posted them a few games ago.

9.7 Pts, 13.5 Rebs, 3.0 Blks

During that stretch, the Jazz have given up totals of 76, 81, 100, 82, 75, 82, 85, 83, 88, 82.

2 games where their opponents scored less than 80 pts.
8 games where their opponents scored 85 pts. or less.
9 games where their opponent scored less than 90 pts.

1 game where their opponent scored more than 100 pts.

Remember when defense was easily the biggest weakness on this team? As long as they can figure out a way to put up 90 pts., it should be enough to win (as long as the defense keeps this up.) Favors, Gobert and hood all helped

I wasn't watching too closely, but I did catch a few moments where the worst of Hood's defense flared up. It sorta feels like he lacks concentration as much as any other facet.

Aldrich exposed Gobert's flaws. He needs to get stronger and more experience guarding post players. Aldrich flipped up a couple of shots that looked like they came straight out of his *** and they went in - it happens.
