Pls Utah. Trade Burke and sign this dude.

Favors and Gobert praying for this dude to get signed so they can finally have a PG who ran run the PNR.

Kind of think the Spurs are going to get him though since they lost Corey Joseph. They have an open spot for a backup PG.

It's the Lakers...

I think we are at 19. We can carry up to 20 players in training camp. Only two teams in the western conference have capspace to sign Huertas - Utah and Portland. If another team is thinking about it, they would need to use various exceptions and will be limited in the amount they can pay him.

Probably Portland then. ****ing us again.

Bryce Cotton is breathing a sigh of relief.

Jason Terry, Mario Chalmers, Garrett Temple, and now Huertas.

Besides the obvious handwriting on the wall, which should be reason enough to be concerned, I doubt Cotton has ever breathed a sigh of relief in his entire basketball life. I can't really picture him starting now. Or ever. Nope, he doesn't know sigh of relief.

I feel like the Jazz would only sign a new point guard if another one of our players left voluntarily. Dennis Lindsay came out and said after Miller stepped down and made the board that he wants a franchise to be known by developing players. I think he sees that talent in the roster we have now, and wants to prove he can develop and not just toss.
I only would excuse this process if we were on the verge of a championship.

Huertas is amazing. He was the best player in the Brazil National Team for years. Excellent pick and roll, clutch, first pass with a decent shot.
