Those NMSU players are morans. You are on an opponents floor and you go after the fans? No blame to most of the fans from me. It looks like this is all started and caused by the players of New Mexico State.

I don't think the fans get a 100% free pass here. Yes, the NMSU kid started the whole thing off, but when he initially hurled the ball, the court storming had yet to begin. When the fans get on the court, some take it upon themselves to start talking to the NMSU players and it went down hill fast. The video shows at least one UVU fan throwing a punch that was absolutely unnecessary. I think there's plenty of blame for both sides on this one. We've seen Utah fans go after BYU football players and BYU football players go after coaches wives, but nobody ever took it to the level of throwing punches.

1st punches all looked to be thrown by the players of NMSU to me. The punch by a fan looks like a reaction to conduct by the players. Keep in mind the fans rushing the court are there to celebrate. The NMSU players on the other hand showed very poor sportsmanship and self control. Once it started getting a bit out of hand the fans did not act great but this all appears started by the players to me.
 
Usually I blame idiotic fans for stuff like this. Remember suspenders boy? Bronco should have decked him.

But this is 100 percent on those idiotic players from the other school. Throws the ball at the UVU player? I mean, seriously? Somebody was gonna get into a fight. Either with a UVU player or fan. Then, they make no attempt to get off the court. The court is stormed and the players immediately start grabbing and shoving fans. When the court is stormed, get outta there.
 
By stay classy, do you mean UVU's player handled getting a ball belted at his leg in a text book way by walking away along with said team?

The comment was directed towards the UVU fans that were continuing to try and get to the UNMSU players after people had finally started to get everything seperated. Props to the ones that were on the court for celebration only and did everything they could to get out of the situation. Some looked all to eager to participate in it, and IMO those guys should not be given a pass.

But you are giving a pass to the players from the other team? The players that not only started it, threw the 1st punches and then had to be dragged off of the court. They were the instigators, and did everything as much as, if not more than any of the fans you are calling out. This is 100% on the NMSU players IMO.

For the most part I agree, with the exception of putting it all on the players. For me it's about 90%. You had a few idiotic fans who tried to continue the altercation. I think overall it serves as a good example of what can go wrong once fans storm the court/field. It's a miracle that nothing worse has happened during Utah-BYU instances.

Oh, and props to UVU fans for storming the court during a regular season WAC game. Awesome.

I can't even talk **** to Utah State fans cuz I legit respect that they obviously are a true fan if they will follow a school like that (that was not **** talking btw lol, just sayin).

UVU?!?! c'mon Man!
