At first there were some on this board who were unbelievers:

But it's gradually becoming obvious that our new coach is building upon more than just a talented young core. What else could explain the inability of the competitions core players to step onto the hardwood at Radium Stadium? Don't believe me? Check out this little known photo of Tyrone:

Maybe this also explains Raja's presence in the starting lineup. We need a brotha from the islands to kick this whole thing off:

Best Post of the new year by a long shot. I know it is early but this is great. +1,000,000

Stephen Curry is out tonight? Why am I not surprised?

Honestly I wish this "lucky" streak of having major names out for the Jazz games would stop. I want the Jazz to get the opportunity to step up against a full healthy team and beat them.

Bogut, Eric Gordon, Zbo and no Curry...

I just think the team's nasty reputation is spreading. Remeber back in the days when players would hate facing the Karl and John Jazz because they knew they'd walk out of the arena - win or lose - with several new bruises? This is what Favors, Kanter, Howard, etc. need to keep doing. Play that "rugged" defense so teams look at the schedule and say, "*&^%, we're playing the %$#^% Jazz tonight. I hate those %^$#@* guys." And half the battle is having the opponents already afraid of taking it inside or going after a rebound or loose ball.

Amen brother. You can be physical , aggressive and "dirty" without fouling. I want them to wake up in the morning and be just sore, beaten up and tired.

It's not luck when you have voodoo on your side. I like that the team is doing whatever they have to do to win. Tyrone has a young team that's not ready to beat the other team's superstars, but with experience and confidence these guys can become unstoppable.

And while we're on the subject, making the playoffs this year and then trading assets that have appreciated in value is a far better strategy than tanking the season in the hopes of adding more young pieces to an already young team. I love that Tyrone can pull the young guys out and replace them with a vet when things get ugly, rather than having to leave a rookie out there to get his confidence destroyed when the superstars he doesn't happen to eliminate with voodoo inevitably go off.

Pass the pygmy turkey. I'm hungry for another win!

I'm not in favor of tanking per say. What I want is the rookies to take a very large role in moving the team forward. I do not want to gut the team and ship the vets out just because. However if something comes up that makes us better than yes pull the trigger and make the trade. I would love the playoffs if the young guys have a big role in getting them there.

What I want to is to truly see what the Jazz have so they know where they need to go.

Spycam1 was right.......dear God.

Like at first i was just joking around when I was asking people to support spycam1s voodoo prophecies, but the coincidences are all so eerie...

That's a reasonable stance. I want the Jazz mentality to be to win as many games as possible using the assets they have. If that means playing vets I'm all for it. If the young guys earn the minutes and send the vets to the bench that's even better. I don't believe in giving guys minutes just because they are young. If they're not ready, such a scenario can hurt their development more than it helps. There are posters on this board who have been preaching that we should ship out the vets and tank the season. Fortunately for us the Jazz FO does not think that way.

Raise your hand (or at least your pixels) if you dreamed the Jazz might be tied for the longest winning streak in the league by the end of the second week after watching them get blown out by more than fifteen points three separate times in the first week.

What's that dude eating?
I believe that Corbin is eating crow--for thinking that playing Bell (and CJ) for 20+ minutes when they weren't producing (and thus didn't merit it) is good coaching.

Since then, it appears that such crow has been dislodged. Kudos, Corbin.

If Bell starts ringing again, ring up his minutes a bit.

at least he seems willing to eat crow and rethink his decisions before it's too late. it's refreshing.
