What is his story? 1st round pick 17th overall, waived by the Grizzlies, picked up by Portland, involved in 3 trades at the deadline, waived and picked up by the Raptors GLeague team and played well against the Stars last night. He is only 22 years old and appears radioactive. Is he another Kendall Marshall?
 
Had a similarly bad rookie year as Grayson so far. I guess the Grizz just didn't want to wait on the then 20 yr old to develop his game. Been a journeyman ever since.

Baldwin went at Grayson in the summer league pretty much unprovoked.

May be a bit a head case.

There's a point of looking for diamonds in the rough. Then there's the point of digging through the **** looking for pennies.

That just means he’s human... dm went at Grayson in college.
 
Baldwin is worth a camp invite and end of roster spot next year if we have some space. He has some physical tools and he showed some jump shooting ability... the lights haven't clicked and they likely don't, but if they did he could be high upside... for a minimum dude. He may just suck at basketball. His G league stats are okay.. his NBA numbers are trash.
 
Most of us liked him in the draft. Some players just have mental problems at the NBA level I think (like Fultz)
 
WBIV had a big game tonight vs Rio Grande Valley. All you Diamond Stone fans he had 9 points 5 boards in 9 minutes PT.
