I suggested getting Dwayne Wade earlier in the year. He could play a similar role to Paul Pierce with the Wizards. A closer. A veteran understudy. A player who brings experience, talent, and a ballast to our ship. At the time I was hoping we would deal our the Golden State pick plus non-guaranteed contracts for him on a rental.
But at this stage for Utah to sign him as a free agent would be pipe dream. Still, Wade would be a fine asset to the team.

Oh the NBA is so good at being more about drama than basketball. Leading into the championship series all the talk will be about "Kevin Love exploring his options" and "Dwayne Wade to reunite with Lebron?" Rather than the series.
If the cavs lose and Kevin Love happens to visit California for the summer the talk will be about Love to Lakers and Wade to cavs.
