I liked the chains. Kind of like S&M. Erotic. With Obama on the stripper pole and everyone stuffing cash in his pants. I think this painting represents prostitution as the solution to our debt problem. Of course, I am kinda high on migraine meds so I may have a skewed perspective right now.

Too bad it isn't weed so I wouldn't be impaired in any way shape or form no matter how high I was, since weed does nothing but make you more connected to the universe to the point that not being on weed should be considered the impairment, not t'other way 'round.

Those who are familiar with my work know I like to use symbolism and metaphor to engage the viewer.

If you have to announce that you are using symbolism, you are not very good at it.

McNaughton uses symbolism like a sledgehammer. There will always be peole who don't pik up on that.
