What's new

Warriors @ Jazz FSN 7pm MST

To lazy to look it up. not if we trade with a team under the salary cap. not sure how many there are, but there are a few I believe. See last years trades. We dumped salary last year when we were a better team, so what makes you think we will not this year?

You are right, the Jazz were better last year, but do you really think that the FO planned on: Okur being out so much this year, losing Matthews, Korver and Boozer as well as Sloan stepping down? It has kind of been a perfect storm that has really hampered this season. Do you really think that the Jazz should thin their bench even more just to save a few million? I agreed with the Brewer trade at the time (doesn't necessarily look good now, though), but the Harpring/Maynor trade was tough.

The Jazz need to hold on to all the young/cheap assets they have because (I believe) the Jazz will have to pretty much be right on every player transaction they do under the new CBA if they want to truly compete for a title.

Yeah this team really needs CJ Miles to shoot 37% while hoisting up 20 shots a game and playing sub-par defense. Thats what this team really needs. Especially since Bell and AK were'nt scoring at all before they got injured, right? This team really needed Miles' 33% outside shooting

It doesn't matter.

CJ Miles or Raja Bell?

What's Raja averaging this season in PPG?

I don't really care who starts or who plays how many minutes, the results will be the same.

Neither player is good enough at this stage to be the Jazz' starting SG.

But if Gordon Hayward can average at least 9 ppg, the Jazz will have found their saviour and management will be offering him the moon and the stars.

Hayward will never be good enough to start for any of the other 29 teams of course, but on the Jazz he'd be the man.

According to a lot people on this board we dont want to compete for a championship :)

Dude is 20 years old and is giving us some quality minutes. He is 3 and 1/2 years younger than Wes Matthews. he is around 12ppg for 40 minutes now. Where do you think he will be in 3 years?

After the 6-game losing streak I knew there was something seriously wrong. I lowered my expectations then.
I knew there was something seriously wrong back when we kept making comebacks from large double-digit deficits. Good teams don't get down 15-20 points in the first place.

Told you that this team sucks.

LOL!!!! You told us NOTHING! During the first month of the season you were raving about how good this team was and how improved our defense was while choosing to ignore/minimize all of the faults. You argued that we were better simply because our record was better, and the defense thing. I was the one arguing that this team's record would drop off, and I'm finally right. And now...YOU TOLD US!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA! GOOD ONE NOSTRADAMUS.

Man, this is some TOTAL ****ING SLOANAGE.

I DOMINATE THIS WEBSITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was about to reply with some snarky comment about Bozzer but I just realized something. The fact that you are manifesting so much joy in this moment, making it into a remarkable personal victory that your favorite NBA team has exploded, tells me that you really need this. Whatever else is going on in your life, man, you can have this one.

Trust me dude, I wish I was wrong, I really do. Just like I wish I was wrong about Obama. Sometimes you just know.
