Warriors @ Jazz Sat. 3/17 7pm (mt) GAME THREAD

I have one slight gripe with Kanter. Why can't he dunk the damn ball? He's missed so many easy points because he does this weird high arcing shot when he's close to the basket. Granted that shot has made it but when you're his size the dunk is the much better decision. Not knocking the guy's total game, but I wish he'd just dunk the ball when he's 3 feet from the rim.

And Favors was just spectacular. He has the potential to become a very deadly player if he can learn how to pass out of a double team (he seems to be trying a bit more lately) and if he can hit that 15-17 footer from the top of the key, both of which are totally realistic for him. He's already light years the best defensive player on the team.

His lack of quick twitch muscle fibers is well documented. His currently slow awareness/decisiveness further adds to the problem. On offensive rebounds at least, Kanter would be better off trying to tip the ball rather than bringing it down and giving the vultures prey to swipe at.

What he'd be best in doing after coming down with an offensive board is doing a quick hop step, in which he really lowers his hips and sticks his *** out to create some separation, all while quickly then going back up for a put back off the backboard. Think Sir Charles. He was very short for a power forward but very strong like Kanter. He'd often kind of stick his butt out to create a little space and then quickly go back up with it.
