Warriors shopping the 7th and 14th pick

I think Garuba could be a significant player on the Jazz. If Moody is off the board, he's the guy in that range I'd be thinking about.
 
Makes sense. Warriors can be scary if Curry keeps on having career numbers and Klay comes back 80% of the player he used to be. All they need is to trade their picks for a good third piece they are in business again.
 
It would hinge on whether there's anyone in that range the front office is in love with. If they find another DM crush I could totally see them taking on a bad contract and moving an asset for a better pick.
 
If I’m the Dubs, I’d try Wiggins, Wiseman and 7 for Siakam. I think that’s enough to get him. If not, throw in a 2022 1st. You get Siakam AND then a player like Garuba or you name it, at 14, and Jesus, you’ve had an off-season.

Even if they have to include #14, it's still worth it.

The GS salary situation is awful. It's projected at $168 million right now for this upcoming season before draft picks. Wiseman and Wiggins combine to make $40.5 million. Siakim makes $31+. If GS can get Siakim and a low salary throw in to make the salaries work, they would save $8 million in salaries which is compounded so much by their repeater luxury tax situation.

Curry, Klay, Siakim and Draymond make up the best core in the NBA. They address every part of the floor. Add in Looney, Paschal, Poole and a few vet minimum guys, and they are the favorites.
 
Most of the trades in this thread are pretty lopsided for the Jazz.

None of the (tradable - so not Gobert/Mitchell) Jazz players are worth the #7/Wiseman unfortunately.

Maybe there's a Wiggins/#14 for Bojan + useful guy deal (one of Ingles/Clarkson/Royce), but that's about all I could see.

Value's close enough there, but I wouldn't particularly like it for Utah unless we're doing a soft reset around Don/Rudy (and preferably Royce). Maybe if Conley tells us he's on the way out.

I cant imagine a world where Bogey gets you even Wiseman and 14 unless the filler is trash.
 
I mean at this point I think a lot of people are also overrating Wiseman and Wiggins. Nobody is giving up decent assets for those players at their current contracts.

Bojan at 19 million >>>> than WIggins at 32 Million. Joe or Royce >>>>>> than the 14 pick.

Nobody is paying full price for Wiseman. That mystery box is much less of a mystery.
