Was SL Trib website redesigned by morons?

I can't think of a logical reason why they went from a perfectly functioning website to redesigning it into a ****show where every article is 8 pages and automatically refreshes every so often.

Ad money. Clicking through multiple pages increases the website hits which in turn gives them more leverage for their ad spaces.
