Was Trey Burke Back?

I realize these players aren't robuts, but watching the game last I could swear that Trey was the starting point guard. I guess everyone is entitled to a bad game but let's hope we don't see too many of these from Georgie.

George Hill in no way shape or form is a "Natural PG" Which is something I always said about Trey, well before the draft(Many here were staunch he was a floor general - True story[see the CP3 thread!])..

Thats why It's funny to me so many here cast aspersions on Alec Burks at PG.. They're both the type of PG's who's AST:TO ratio depend on limiting TO's much more so than compiling assists.

George Hill isn't a better asset than many of the PG's at the top of this next draft, no way. Everybody knew this was the draft to get a PG years ago.. Thats why to me, the Hill move will always be settling -- Like a check-down for a QB, they were just looking for something safe(aka not BPA)... There's a list of PG's in the NBA i'd take over him too --- Bledsoe thoroughly outplayed him the other day..

George Hill is a rich mans Jeremy Lin. Thats it.

So many stupid posts on this board from people knowing zero about basketball.

George Hill is #16 in Offensive Rating in the whole NBA, not just PGs.

Despite being injured most of the time, he still has 18 ppg, 4.1 apg, 3.7 rpg on 49.3 FG% / 43.1 3P% / 57.1 EFG%, with a PER of 21.5. George Hill also got a Western Conf Player of the Week award.

Those are huge numbers most PG can only dream of. There's like zero chance you can replace him easily by someone else as good (why would you do so is beyond me anyway since we win most games since he came here) and even if you could (you can't), Utah is in win now mode, the time to pile young players and assets is now over. But I guess you don't understand what GMs do either since you don't seem to be able to understand much.

If the team was 81-1 you'd still get those idiots crying about the loss and asking for a rebuild. This board and this team deserve a better fan base and better moderation.

I was just trying to say it was a rough day at the office for him last night. The numbers were Trey like. If he has a bunch of games like this like Trey did, I will start to worry.

lololol and if Rudy has a bunch of Greg Ostertag type games i'm gonna get real worried ..

What I was unhappy with last night, which had nothing to do with George, was the coverage on Westbrook's game-winning shot. No help defense. We should've doubled him and forced him to give up the ball. Instead, the pick released him and there was no coverage. Everyone knew Westbrook was going to shoot. So what if someone else is open. Then he'd have to pass and there's always a chance he'd make a bad pass or someone would fumble it, or all sorts of scenarios. That coverage has to change.

Going with Exum or Mack would have been a .500 team, and you don't get Fultz, Ball, or Smith. You might get De'Aaron Fox at best, and that comes at the hidden cost of Hayward leaving for greener pastures next year.

LOL!

**** me. I literally broke down Dante's minutes for 2 games to illustrate how hard it is for a PG to defend when they have no help... No one wanted to hear a bar of it! All Exum's fault.

Little different now its GH getting burnt aye..
