What's new

We FINALLY Get to See the New Court:

I am not obsessed with Ed Davis. Yea go ahead and deny that some Jazz fans wanted a Big which would have been Ed Davis. Your claim that this wasn't a fact is as ridiculous as you whining about Hayward's poor game in a scrimmage.

Oops, my bad. Ed Davis was the only big in the draft and you're not the only one talking about him. I got my facts wrong.

Millsap dunks with a bit of class. Pinkie up.

I wanted someone different than Hayward on draft day. Still do, but since he is here I want him to succeed. I like the kid. I'm not going to hold it against him that I wanted other guys more.
It's not Hayward the player either, it's where we drafted him. At #9 I still think he's a big reach.
ON the positive, he looks like he's been hitting the gym hard. He's getting pretty ripped. He's going to be fun to watch develop on offense. He is perfect for the system.
It's defense that scares the **** out of me.

I can't believe we have another intriguing player from the 2nd round. KOC you really make up for your 1st round blunders with 2nd round magic.

This team is really deep. IF AK stays healthy, Fes and CJ progress we'll truly have a chance to compete with the Lakers (we haven't been real contenders the last 2 years).
This season is starting off with a hint of true hope to compete with the West elite. I haven't felt that in a while.

This. I'm still not over it. That was a horrible night (draft night). Hayward isn't bad - especially at a much later pick. But he just appears to be such a reach.
I know they weren't able to trade up I guess. But Aldrich was there and I would've preferred him. Even if it would've meant a stockpile at the C. Get BPA.

Wah.

It's DEFINITELY a reach to say Aldrich was the BPA at 9.

The problem was that there was no standout pick at #9. No consensus on what the BPA was at #9. There would be lots of groaning no matter who the pick ended up being.
