What's new

We must get Nash.

If Nash did sign an extension and we did have him for a couple of years after the lockout, I still don't do this trade.
I love Nash he has been my favorite non-Jazz player for the past 7 years, but last year he started to miss games due to reoccurring injuries near the end of the season.
These were important games for Phoenix since they were still in the playoff race.
I just don't see Nash being reliable for two more years, especially if there is a lockout and he doesn't play for us until he is 39!

I'm curious as to what you would do? Just stay the way we are? As of today, we've got eight guys that play the 4/5. Surplus much? I happen to think that our absurdly young core of guys could REALLY use some REAL veteran leadership. *caugh, Raja* The dividends would be paid for years after Nash's retirement. Buy hey, I'm sure Raja and Devin are the perfect guys to take this team all the way, baby.

It's true, I rarely post over here because 99% of the time, you all know more than I. I just happen to be correct this time, and you are -- shockingly -- still an obnoxious twit.

I'd keep Millsap
I'd trade Harris and Bell to Portland for Miller and Matthews. I've said this almost a dozen times now. Welcome to the board.

oh... and, um, Steve Nash is old as hell and we're not even close to being contenders.

Welcome indeed, you freaking clod. Might be a good idea to pull the chub out of your eye, turn off the kiddie-porn, and try thinking before you speak. Novel concept, I know.

Also, the Mathews boat has sailed. Get over it.

Miller was just a salary match anyway. Sorry for not logging on to ESPN every 12 hours or less. I'll think about correcting this. Then, I won't.

I haven't looked at ESPN in 2 years. I happen to just not be a moron.

Anyway, back on topic, what would you do? (try and use your head for something other than a hat-rack this time)

Nash is too old and its not worth it. If we were a team that was contending and close to a championship than I would do it. But we are not so we would be trading away our talent for 5 more wins in a season. Playoff time we would be out in the first or 2nd round. So its a worthless trade.

Keep Harris. Trade Millsap for a solid wing player and a future PG. That is all we can get out of Millsap. Not as valuable as everyone in this forum believes.

I'm not even going to bother reading this thread, but I feel how I should comment on how dumb it probably is.
