I counted literally about a dozen wide open 15-18 footers for Scola and West tonight. No one was coming out to guard them.

Refs let Kanter and Favors off the hook for at least three obvious fouls each. This game wouldn't have been close had the refs not been trying to undermine the tank.

Actually, yes. I mean, if we're gonna give them one weakness, thats the one to give. Last night's game was a perfect illustration of our porous perimeter D.

Kawhi Leonard would change our team forever. If we can't get jabari or Wiggins, then I hope we get an elite 3&D SF.

Pacers beat Utah in rebs, ast, steals, blocks, FG%, FT%, TOs and had less fouls. But Burke changes the whole personality of this team. He seems like a real leader and I saw some good effort and fight from the core. I am thrilled with last night.

21-10 is an insanely high home prediction, but the 10-21 road prediction is even crazier. Our 43 win near 8th seed playoff team last year won only 13 road games. We are not going to go .500 the rest of the way.

Burke could've had around 13-14 assists last night. He does play a lot like Cp3 in that he's good at getting into the paint and either drawing a big freeing up Favors for a dunk or getting Kanter or a wing a wide open shot with the kickout, which are things that cp3 does really well.

he got stuck at nine because corbin decided in the 4th qtr that burke was young and inexperienced.

and what about those automatic 12 points on wide-open jumpers by Scola? One could say those were the difference in the game. One could also say that they were caused by Scola's teammates getting into the lane.

I agree that's the shot to give. I'm glad we gave them over other shots. I'd rather we didn't have to give them.

Just kidding. Enes Kanter is so damn slow footed and has an even slower reaction time that it's almost impossible to defend the pick and pop with him on the court.

I was encouraged with the effort last night. What it showed is Indy has learned how to close games out. Jazz will eventually learn that. I also realized how weak our bench is too. Jazz need a couple of scorers off the bench to keep from losing the lead when the starters come out. Burke makes a huge difference.

Yes our bench is weak but that is by design. Next year will be a different story.
