True, we don't need a backup 5. Our guys are totally capable of defending against the likes of Gasol and Bynum. C'mon man.

Oberto anyone? He'd be cheap and I'd love to get his big, tough *** in here for 2 years, 4M. Hell, I'd throw him 5M. He could probably teach Fes a thing or two. Or Kurt Thomas? I think he was a FA and hasn't re-signed with Milwaukee yet, right? He's more of a 4 but bro can play the 5.

I'm almost tempted to suggest Dee Brown as backup PG and reunite the Illini, but it might be too painful to give Dee another shot. I actually really like Patty Mills (RFA) and at SG I'm on the Rudy Fernandez bandwagon - although I'd like to know more about what his beef is. If it's just playing time then Utah can provide him that at SG. Then there's the whole working this out with our personal bully, Paul Allen.

You're right. Luther Head signed with NO for 2.5M over 2 years. -- that's pretty cheap. But his best asset is his history with Deron. Jazz can still, and should, just pick up Augie.
