We seriously need to revisit Burks at the backup PG

The Jazz have done triple wing a decent amount this year and I think Ingles is more likely to be the backup PG than Burks. Although the label "PG" is most likely meaningless in any triple (or quadruple) wing lineup, but I'll bet we will see Ingles bring the ball up the court more and start the sets.

To be honest. . . I'd feel good about any of Hayward, Hood, Burks, Ingles or JJ initiating the offense in a multi-wing set. Probably why I like the idea of that so much.

Ironically Utah's most likely opponent in the first round is the one team I feel pretty decent about Mack as the back-up PG.

I think he matches up pretty well against Felton.

I would rather see Inlges at PG and Burks at SG. Burks is a better SG than a PG. I would rather see the team play to Burks strengths than force him to do things he is not good at. I also dont think Burks can guard most the PGs in this league. Although I think we could see him there sometimes when the matchup is right. I think we have seen Quin do this already with all of the positions. Quin has been playing more of Neto when it is a shorter quick PG.

I am interested in what moves we make at the trade deadline. I think we will make a small move or two that will clear up some spots a little. I also think it will be interesting to see what happens when the playoffs come around or get close what the rotations tighten up to. Right now I think Quin is rotating through a lot of players to keep people as fresh as possible and trying very hard to prevent injuries, especially preventable ones that come from overuse/fatigue.

Who doesn't? lol

I legitimately don't know, is Exum healthy? Isn't he super young, and Neto SUPER mediocre? I'd give Dante the burn and let him try to work out the kinks.

But he might just be injured and I don't know about it.

I also would prefer that dante gets minutes over neto and mack. I figure that as long as hill is playing 30 plus minutes the effect had on the game between dante, mack, and neto will all be minimal so i would prefer to go with the guy with the most potential.

Neto has the least head scratching moments of the 3.

Q is already headed in this direction, IMO. But, he's getting some good action out of his pawns right, so I expect him to keep using them while he can. Triple-wing is gonna happen, though. Plenty.

Besides the theoretical PGs, there are a lot of guys who handle the ball on this team, like Hood, Hayward, Joe Johnson, Ingles or even Diaw. Hence, putting Burks at the 1 should not be a problem at all, despite his low basketball IQ, because he would NOT be asked to actually run the team.

So Exum is healthy? Jesus, dude is basically in his second year, and had a huge injury. We're not even going to give him a chance? Doesn't he play decent defense? How bad it could it possibly be (compared to Neto)?
