What's new

Welcome to Election Day 2024,

I wonder what economic consequences will arise when he deports 10 million "Illegal rapists" from the country and starts a trade war with our biggest economic partner.
It is supply and demand. The cost of domestic labor will go up putting the American worker in a position to command a higher compensation for his or her work.

Stolen quote, but nail on the head.

  • Paid sick leave in Nebraska passed
  • $15 minimum wage in deep-red Missouri passed
  • LGBT protections passed across the country
  • Abortion rights got codified in twelve states last night
And yet Democrats are completely flailing on the national stage. People! Love! Progressive! Policies! Your wishy-washy centrism is NOT what we need or want.

I think to the average voter the identity politics being front and center is just a huge turn off.

Thank you Econ 101 textbook man. You can now go back to your horny posting about AI women and weird conspiracy ****.

I voted yes on Prop 139 in Arizona and it passed so I had a great night last night. For those not familiar because you likely don’t live in AZ it amends the current law of banning abortions passed week 15. A pro-choice Trump voter. What a piece of **** I am right?

I think think its become the go to for progressive parties cause its something they can be seen to be doing. The bigger structural issue, the entrenched privilege and power of corporations, all these things are just too hard. Plus they're in the pocket of these same companies. So they go for the easy surface crap.

Leave the Far-left out of it sir. We didn't do this. The Democrats are a center-right party, Republican-lite. It's a big part of why they lose.
So the "Democratic Center-Right, Republican-lite" portion of the Democratic party was responsible for the messaging that focused on vilifying their political opponent, instead of focusing on how she was going to make the country a better place to live?

Not sure I buy that, but maybe you're right.

Buy it. It's true.

I'm hoping the takeaway is that vilifying your political opponent can't be the core of your message.

Wait, you don't think that trump vilifies his opponent? Lolololololololmao.
That is the funniest comment I have ever seen.
He started calling his opponents wife ugly way back in 2016 (his Republican primary opponent)
Lock her up?
Been calling Kamala every name in the book. Scum, garbage etc. ever heard his enemy within quote? Sleepy Joe, comrade Kamala, crazy Bernie, little Marco, crooked Hilary, Ron DeSanctimonious, Ditzy Davos, Birdbrain (Nikki Haley), Gavin newscum, crazy Nancy, tampon tim, pocahantas. To name a few.

trump vilifying his opposition is kinda his thing. Only people he doesn't vilify are the leaders of our enemies.
