What's new

Welcome to 'Murica

This debate is getting old. Guns won't ever be banned and unfortunate acts (some proven to have been staged - see Sandy Hook) will always happen. More people die in Spain than in the US in car accidents and I don't necessarily feel safer driving in the US. Some crazy mfk'in nut jobs on the road here.

How is a mass shooting of children proven to be staged without heads rolling?

And a cursory search found you wrong, as most conspiracy theories tend to be.

dont have to see future. there are some who already raping and commiting violent crime. so their numbers will increase ofcourse. so if some of em already commiting violent crimes. when more come there will be more and more.

sorr if what i stated above is not pc. but unlike the mainstream media i tend to shove pc up some hole where the sun dont shine
I don't care that's it's not pc. It's just an opinion of yours and there for I don't think it means much.
You are so set in your ways that your thoughts are extremely predictable and don't carry much weight with people

Because mainstream media has lied to us over and over again? Why should what you might consider being reliable sources be more reliable than the ones I consider reliable? Confront your Ego Orb, I'll admit being wrong about Sandy Hook being staged if proven, nothing wrong with that whatsoever.

Well, given Occam's Razor goes against the idea of most assumptive principles, the hallmark of conspiracy theories such as the one you're championing, and the fact that the simplest answer flies against the narrative you wish to believe, plus the concept of cognitive dissonance means that no matter what evidence, proof, facts, accuracies, whatever you would want to call it would sway you otherwise, there's no real point in providing any sorts of answers.

As for the actual topic, isn't it pretty safe to say that what's going on now isn't working and that there needs to be some sort of change?

change will come will take some years, but guns are stigmatized more and more.
recently district autorneys where not alloweded to own gun. that got overturned to not carrying on duty. guns get more and more stigmatized. the gun loving crowd will shrink with each new generations. which then elad to a simple easy gun ban

If you're making the claim it was staged than the burden of proof is on you. Until you prove it was you'll continue to be dismissed on that topic.

gun free zone:
from the college's website:

The following actions and/or behaviors are the types of misconduct for which students may be subject to disciplinary action. These prohibitions are not designed to define misconduct in all-inclusive terms and in no way should this be considered an exhaustive list:
1. blah blah
2.blie bloeh

19. Possession or use, without written authorization, of firearms, explosives, dangerous chemicals, substances, or any other weapons or destructive devices that are designed to or readily capable of causing physical injury, on College premises, at College-sponsored or supervised functions or at functions sponsored or participated in by the College.

What kind of change while keeping in mind recent court rulings. 2nd amendment is here to stay.

In my view it has become the opposite. The mainstream media lies until proven otherwise. I don't have to prove anything, I'm just encouraging people to do their own research and come up with their own conclusions.

Likewise, I hope you don't blindly believe that the twin towers fell on their own due to a fire on the top floors, or is there not anything fishy surrounding that event either?

I fail to see how the conservative...err... NRA angle makes the country safer. Take the theater shooting. No concealed weapon holder (or open carrier, for that matter) would ever have the opportunity to stop that threat since you have to identify the target for one, and establish clear shooting for another.

Gun ownership works at most for self defense, not mass people defense. "Mental Health" is just a red herring since access to guns are so ubiquitous, as gun advocates are so eager to point out, that a mentally ill person will obtain firearms even if legally denied.

Gun violence, so far as I'm aware, is exponentially more prevalent in the US on a percentage basis than any other first world country. Proliferation of guns is a political answer, not a helpful one, nor is gun education, as both individuals with no knowledge of guns or complete knowledge of firearms are mass shooting people. I read something suggesting that the study of mass murderers are often projecting one's own shame (in all its variations) onto others via the most final of ways. That's where the solutions start. Find what the triggers are. Anger as a result of shame. Mass divide among people and their ideologies end up being a scapegoat. Leads me to suggest that the extreme views and opinions of individuals (especially in the political realm) end up causing the most anger and shame, and thus are one of the root causes. If the country, as a whole, leaned toward less bloviating and more listening, leading to more understanding rather than anger or shame.

Any way, more stream of consciousness thought than well organized paragraph, but there you go.
