Welcome to the first ever Jazzfanz salary cap draft Current Draft addition.

For me it came down to either SGA or Wemby. The rules stated to choose based on how well you thought they would do in the upcoming season. I had some worries that Wemby’s blood clot issues would reemerge, so I chose SGA, who I had no doubts about, especially concerning his proven ability to lead a team to the championship. I also liked Nikola Jokic, Anthony Edwards, and Luka Doncic, but they were more expensive than SGA.

I absolutely would’ve taken SGA or Joker first but crazy he lasted to me.

With my next pick, I take:

Jarrett Allen ($20,000,000)

With the little bit of cap space I've been saving, I thought about a lot of options for a splurge, but I went with another really solid big man. He gets overshadowed by Mobley, but he still does a lot for the Cavs.

I like the pick, but I think the salary number is wrong. I’m pretty sure his Qualifying Offer is $6.31 million, but the cap hold should be $12.89 million.
