Well Game 1 coaching fail for Ty

I like Corbin and I think he will do better in game 2 and we will win. We can beat this team. Ty will make adjustments. He gets a mulligan this game . He had to feel some things out. But he could have done better this game.

Corbin is such a ***** with his lineups.

"Howard will be starting cause he has playoff experience." Never mind that he's an old, out of shape chucker.
 
I only got to watch a few minutes of the fourth. Was San Antonio's defense falling off our pg all game or just in the 4th? Harris clanked a couple of 3's just when the Jazz had closed it to about 10 pts. His defender was no-where close. Good strategy by Pops (the big jerk) cause Tinsley and Harris aren't really a threat as spot up jump shooters.

Coach Corbin can't make Harris start making 3pt shots, but can make adjustments for that.
 
Favors only had 6 less minutes than Big Al.

Howard only played 16 minutes.

Hayward lead all players with minutes played with 36.

Man alive, I cannot believe it but Blues speaks the truth.

Howard getting the minutes he got was an absolute disgrace to the coaching profession.

Only 16 minutes, but do the Jazz really need to handicap themselves for a third of the game on the road against one of the best teams in the NBA?

I don't think Howard's minutes was the problem. The problem is the certain lineups he played in. I almost thought Cj was on the floor with all the chucking.
 
Why don't they run more offense to and through Hayward? I cannot remember a single play called for him today. And especially when we have no starting PG :p
 
Raja got a DNPCD and Howard played 16 minutes. It could have been SO much worse.

Utah got outplayed by a superior team. No need to nitpick the details. I thought our guys did a good job of sticking around for most of the game. Any game that isn't an early blowout = good experience. Lots of unrealistic expectations around here.
 
Why is Howard getting any minutes? I think I saw him make one productive play out there.
 
As predicted, Harris gets absolutely torn to shreds by Parker. Not surprising, I know. We need a new PG next year.

He sucks, no doubt, but I just don't think it's realistic to expect Corbin to bench both Howard and Bell. I'm just thrilled to see Raja getting a DNP. After they brought him in at the end of the regular season, I thought for sure he'd be getting some burn in the playoffs. We could so easily be looking at Bell getting minutes, while Burks gets the DNP. Gotta give Ty credit at least for making sure Burks gets some time.

Also, if Howard can get back into his rythym, he could help us win a game or two. I'd be happy with keeping him on the bench, but I can surely understand what our coaching staff is thinking by giving Howard some minutes.
