What's new

Well, it was good while it lasted, but...

Translation for 'Jazz Fanz':

"I wish these idiots would have kept Boozer."

...couldn't be more wrong! Hopper is not and never was a Boozer fan! Anybody that doesn't play defense, forces up ill-advised jump shots while fading away from the basket....and has more tattoo's than brains...ain't his type of guy!

I was hoping this thread would have gone

"Well it was good while it lasted but... I'm no longer posting on this messageboard"

Too bad your ego would ever let you leave this online community again. I'm sure once you lost your privilege to post here, you vowed to yourself "never again!"

Dude, I just joined this thing and the first message I see is your retarded post about Al and Deron and the chemistry between them has "dissipated".......? That's the dumbest thing I think I've ever heard. After one game you've made that assumption? People need to chill and realize that the Jazz are WAY better with Al than Boozer and he and Deron will figure it out and be the next dynamic duo in the NBA. All of these assumptions after one single game are absurd. Forget the pre-season, forget last night. Look at who the coach is, look at who is the captain of the team and look at the name on the front of the jersey. The Jazz are gonna be just fine.
If you stick around, hopefully you'll get used to the Hopper hyperbole.

I find it incredibly adorable and endearing the way you speak for Hopper. Good for you guys.

...hopper and I are like two peas in a pod when it comes to basketball! We both be "old school" and will not cater to the fundamentally unsound ways of the "hopper" generation of idiot children currently landscaping today's NBA!

And a fellow "old time" '70's Knicks fan, I just found out. Willis Reed, Clyde, and the guys were a REAL team. NOT the mess they call a "team" they have there these days:cool:

CJ, don't you mean is? It almost sounds like you're describing an alter-ego of yours? I know, it's pretty serious. ;) Plus, I'm guessing NotDeadYet is also CJ. Did I miss one or two or three? :)

As for "Hopper", I also agree that unless you're bored, there's no reason to react like this until later in the year. I wonder how long Malone took to get used to the offense? How about Boozer? If you're bored, go research the numbers and game recaps and see what they were saying after the first game with Stockton.

Every year or two, I add another. Dead is my most recent creation, and mebbe one of the best. I usta have over 10,000 posts, but it was really more like 40,000 if ya add em all up. Don't mess wit me. Me and my "homeys" will be all over yo sorry *** if ya duz. Like a blitzkrieg, ya know? Comin atcha so fast, with so many, ya aint got no hope.

Lol, duly noted. Glad you found something you like to do. If nothing else, if does keep the board active. :)

Having seen a decent portion of the game last, I was disappointed in Jefferson. It seems like the offense just stopped when he got the ball in the post, while defenders collapse on him and half the time he still tries to shoot over them. Whereas when he caughjt the ball on a move toward the basket, he seemed to get easy buckets.

I think he knows less of our offense than he thinks he does.

It will come. These things can be taught. The real problem is Deron Williams not pulling his weight and blaming everyone else for the teams struggles.
