We're Drafting Herzonja!

"Inconsistent effort on defense"

That scares the crap out of me. We are 4-1 since Kanter left. I don't want some soft, euro chucker who is a diva and thinks he should be MJ in NYC.

No thanks.

Do you hate white players?

Herzonja has more potential than the other wings to that you guys have been mentioning tbh.

I'm done with Defensive liabilities. Our team identity is Defense. Bring in people that can play it, I don't think Stanley and Winslow are slouches.

I don't think Hezonja will be a defensive liability. He's got good size and great athleticism for a wing.

Exum/Hezonja/Hayward can be stellar offensively. Their ability to pass, shoot and drive (assuming Exum learns to shoot), will open space for our bigs.

Was Ginobili ever heralded as a great defender?

Maybe he's better at defense than people know so far. Having Rudy and Favors on the back line can change how well your wings play on the perimeter.

I think with the players we have we can afford to add someone who isn't a defensive stud. Some more offense would be good at this point.

I haven't watched him play much, but he looks awfully intriguing in his highlights.

Hezonja doesn't seem like a defensive liability. He actually looks pretty decent. Not lock down but long and aware. I know we are all stoked about Gobert but we need shooting above all else right now. Hezonja would be a great pick at 9 imo.

Lol at people turning up their noses at Hezonja. This guy is good and we would be damn lucky to draft him. I don't think he drops lower than 6 and could go higher. I'm not worried about defensive concerns. He has lapses where he doesn't put in as much effort on D, but he is a capable defender when he wants to be, and we've all seen the impact Gobert has on everyone else's effort on D. Also, with Gobert and Exum being limited offensively, I don't like the idea of drafting a defensive wing who can't shoot. We can find that elsewhere. Hezonja would be a big win, considering our current draft position.

He's probably one of the few players in this draft I'd sell the farm for. Philly is tied for 3rd right now, and if luck was on our side, I'd love to see them bumped to 4 or 5. I don't think they will trade someone like Russell at #2, but they might trade at 4 or 5 for multiple picks.

Ginobli was pretty tenacious. He would give up his body on plays pretty regularly. He's 6'4" with pretty average length though. He was more about quickness and IQ.

Gotta have scoring players sometime though, just look at the 3rd quarter tonight. The problem with Kanter's offense was he couldn't and wouldn't pass. If Kanter could have learned to pass and could have stuck here.

this is the guy worth tanking for. this is the guy worth letting very good, valuable assets like paul milsap walk for for nothin.
this is the savior. lmao. the perpetual rebuild continues. and the sheep keep grazin. #baaaaaa
