Western conference regular season prediction contest

how can anyone pick the t-wolves over the Jazz. Sorry but the franchise has to have a .500 record before i am going to believe the hype. Not saying they aren't good but they were really bad last year. The Jazz have matched up well with them too.

I think the Jazz will finish second in the Northwest behind OKC and sixth/seventh in the west. if the Jazz stay healthy and get major improvement form Exum, Burks, and Favors and a rookie of the year type of year from Donovan then I could see them finishing higher than sixth.

They look good on paper, but they need to mesh, and they're not a great outside shooting team. I could see them adding 12 - 14 games to their win total from last year. One question is whether Towns can be more dominant than he was last year.

Watching the T'wolves vs. the Warriors. Wolves don't move the ball that well, don't have that much movement in their offense, and they're not that great a shooting team. I think they're going to miss having Rubio set guys up. There's a lot of deep iso shots going on here, and Teague isn't helping things much.

If Wiggins isn't going to improve his ball skills, he should think about playing some PF like Harrison Barnes.

They are also one of the best coached teams in the league. I will be pleasantly surprised if we finish in front of the pups.

I'm watching some of the Blazers in pre-season. The Jazz *should* be better than the Blazers, unless Lillard and McCollum are going ballistic. Watch for Caleb Swanigan to get a fair number of minutes. He's tough and skilled. Good pick at #26 in the draft.
