Forgive me for my ignorance but my understanding is he is now a free agent this offseason. I may be wrong.

Any way he is 6-5 combo guard that is averaging 18 ppg and 5 assists. He is also ranked high in steals per game. He could be a nice buffer until exum is completely ready and he is big enough to play the 2.

I dont know his 3 pt % but might be easier to get it off in the nba because teams wont be focusing on stopping him.

According to Eurohoops sources, the Denver Nuggets are monitoring him for a long time and they are to ready give him the contract and the minutes that he would like to have in order to return to the NBA. De Colo, however is a restricted free agent with his rights belonging to Toronto, so expect the Raptors and probably more NBA teams to enter the picture in his possible return to the States. – via EuroHoops.net

Been pushing for DeColo for a while. He has greatly improved since his days with the Spurs. You did not mention he is the Euroleague MVP, Euroleague Finals MVP, and best player in Europe right now. He can play the 1 and 2. He is a very good shooter and passer. 46% from 3 and 5 assists. Did not realize his rights were still owned by Toronto though. Will make things more difficult for whoever tries to sign him. Also heard Nets will really be interested. Spurs would actually be a good fit as well. CSKA is rumored to be offering him 5 million a year so to get him in the NBA I think 7-8 a year will be the minimum.

Your reading comprehension leaves a lot to be desired. I was responding to the op in that there is no need since we had Mack. U unwittingly acted the idiot. Don't be one.

The point I was trying to get across was that Mack shouldn't hold us back from getting players. He's not that good. People do the same thing with Ingles. Nice guys, but we need to upgrade those positions. Idk if De Colo is an upgrade over Mack, but I definitely wouldn't not sign him just because we have Mack. That's just a stupid mindset that doesn't lead to improving your team.

Could you explain to me why we shouldn't try to upgrade Mack? I mean, it's not a necessity, but we certainly could do it.

He's an ok defender, turnover prone, poor shooting PG. He was a 3rd stringer on a good team. He's not that good.

You are right. 3rd stringer on a good team. Thing is the Jazz are not a good team. As a backup he is fine.Jazz need someone that can take over a game when the time is needed

De Colo vastly improved himself. I think he will have better suitors than us though.
