He can let Kobe do whatever the hell he wants (just like he let Lebron do whatever he wanted).

That's why he was hired.

That's fine. Kobe probably wanted his buddy yes-man Shaw as the new coach.

But that still doesn't take away from the fact that Brown is just going to be another yes-man to Kobe.

I just didn't see much coaching when it came to Cleveland. Get the ball to Lebron, and let him go one on one.

His usage (or lack thereof) of Hinkson probably cost them a chance at the finals.

That's true.

We'll soon see what he can do. Following up Phil Jackson isn't the easiest thing in the world to do. Especially when you consider their aging, slowing, and injury plagued roster full of egos. Even if they unload Bynum for Dwight, I think they still need a better point and another Ariza like wing to battle the big boys of the NBA.

One needs to also consider Kobe. The dude looked like a hyped up version of Ray Allen last year. Not saying that sucks. But I think LA might need to consider that Kobe is no longer a great scorer anymore. Shooter? Yes. But not a great scorer. He no longer can be depended on to score 25+ and carry his team offensively. He needs to be more of a role player now. Much like Ray Allen is today.
