What Color Is This Dress?

I see light blue and a muddy gold. I think the actual colors are dark blue and black.
Little worried about the people seeing white, they should probably head to the optometrist.

So wait, do people see it differently looking at the same screen? Or does it look different on different screens?

Wow. What a trip.

I see it as white and gold.

In the article they say this...

So when context varies, so will people’s visual perception. “Most people will see the blue on the white background as blue,” Conway says. “But on the black background some might see it as white.” He even speculated, perhaps jokingly, that the white-gold prejudice favors the idea of seeing the dress under strong daylight. “I bet night owls are more likely to see it as blue-black,” Conway says.

Just curious. How many of you wear sunglasses when you are outside, and how much time so you spend outside in the day light?

I never wear sunglasses and spend a lot of time outside.

The pic in the op looks light blue and gold to me (on desktop and phone) but when I've seen the picture other places it looks black and blue.

It seems clear to me that superior people see white and gold.

I don't get people who say blue and gold. Its either dark blue and black in the sun, or white and gold in the shade(which makes it look blue and brown). Those are the two competing interpretations.
