If you start getting a lot of prank calls, it isn't me. For reals.
Speaking of pranks on Trout...I think it's time I try to sell his car again.

Bachelor degree in Business (Economics & Finance)
MA in Economics
After Uni worked in a property development company doing market research, writing Economic impact reports for various projects such as shopping malls, demand housing developments, commercial hubs, etc. Enjoyed doing that as I enjoyed coming up with Economic models as well as I got to travel to quite a few places.
Then wanted to do something different so I got into one of the Big 4 Accounting firm doing International Taxation (Transfer Pricing) which deals with taxation of multinational companies across countries. Got to a managerial position there, but realized that life is more than that. Money is not everything. You earn more, but at the same time you do spend more as well. Also working in an office 10 hours/day, including the stress that comes with it just isn't worth it.
So I'm now running a family owned garden centre working with plants (growing & selling), garden design, etc. It's enjoyable working in the Sun & the fresh air, etc. Also meeting & helping people is really rewarding.
With the peace that comes with this new job I've found time to go to church again. The next chapter in my life will definitely be some sort of missionary work in a developing country. I want to bring the message of love & forgiveness to as many people as possible, as well as helping others. It will be an exciting chapter in my life (in 4 years time once we sold the family business and everyone go our separate ways...).
That's cool tttkkk, any chance this 'developing country' will not have internet access? Just curious.
LOL.. very funny PKM..
Yes I think they do have internet access.. (in the city area anyway). Once I get into it fully I probably won't have too much time to follow the Jazz, checking emails & facebook anyway...
Now that you're semi-retired (I'm guessing), do you do much volunteering, charity events, etc?
Yes. I am involved quite heavily in the Living Waters project (bringing clean water to third world countries), help small villages with school-churches .. and I also help young multi-talented athletes choose UK as their place to spend one year of college.
Very cool. You and Jimmy Carter could be good friends. B.C. too I think.
What did Carter ever do for UK?
UK is a third world country? Agreed.
