What's new

What do you think about the decision to NOT VOTE for president?

I don't recall lowered lending standards being pressed for at all.

They were.

Is the rhetoric that he buying into any different than the rhetoric that you buy into about everything is an inside job and a conspiracy? Is it really?

The funny thing about that is the fact that you people think that I think everything is a conspiracy and inside job.
There's a few things in history that have been covered up, 9/11 is one of them. So what?
Seems obvious.

What also seems obvious is that nothing ever changes in this country between Reps/Dems and Congress/The Fed.

If there's one entity in history that has proven it can't do anything right, or sustain any kind of liberty, wealth, or freedom..... that would be every single major government throughout history.

Look at it from our point of view Silencer. We do not know you personally so to us you are your posts. Your posts are about conspiracies and things along that nature. So to us you are all about conpiracies.

Fair or not that is the way it is. It goes for all of us here.

Yeah I totally get it.
I prefer to post things that might be a little thought provoking to your typically CBS/NBC/CNN/Fox News nightly watcher.
Or just something that they will look past because the TV says.

Now to characterize those topics as to being conspiracies, would actually be the characterization of the mainstream media toward any topic they don't see fit to cover.

Now when you look at who owns all of these networks, you have to ask yourself if there's an agenda.
General Electric owns most of them, Rupert Murdoch, and of course the infamous Ted Turner (who on camera admits he is "for" reducing world population by millions).

Yeah I totally get it.

I do not think that is accurate with what is happening.

For example:
9/11
Vaccines

You have very difinetively come down on the conspiracy side of the fence. One could argue you are on that side of the fence regarding food labeling and medicine as well.

Well you're opinion is always valid in this society, but I just don't see that the case.
I actually considered myself to be a Democrat just about 4 years ago, until I read a book called "None Dare Call A Conspiracy" by Gary Allen.
The book illustrates things perfectly, and invites you to do your own research, for which I have done constantly ever since.

You watch documentaries like "Loose Change", Freedom To Fascism, and Invisible Empire and it all seems to fit.

Many presidents have warned us of the "secret government" and the power that banks would have after taking over the economy ranging from Thomas Jefferson, to Abraham Lincoln, to Woodrow Wilson, to Dwight D. Eisenhower, and of course to John F. Kennedy.

I wont deny that there are conspiracies Silencer. I truly believe there are. I am just a lot slower and more reserved to start pointing them out.

Sorry franklin, since you prefer to buy into the rhetoric, then I guess you'll never change.

By change you mean come to your self-righteous enlightenment? See things the way thou seeeth? No thanks, wannabe Jesus.

Yeah I totally get it.

Yes, Silencer, we are all led around by the nose by network television. Thanks for telling again just how superior you are. Now, if you wouldn't mind using your massive intellect to actually post something thought provoking instead of your typical juvenile wolf crying nonsense....quickly debunked blather spewing from Judeo-Christian radical fundamentalism isn't exactly stimulating regardless of how strongly you believe God has given you all the answers and the devil has blinded the rest of us from your truths.

I actually considered myself to be a Democrat just about 4 years ago, until I read a book called "None Dare Call A Conspiracy" by Gary Allen.

The entire thesis of that book was based on multiple lies. One specificly, a falsified paper someone claimed to have found in a Denver gutter. Now, if you had actually read that paper, instead of some sensationalized book built on it, then you would be all for the Federal Reserve stopping the deflationary forces that are intentionally created by the "evil Elders of Zion who control everything". But alas, here you are, bitching out of both sides of your mouth about bank caused deflation and about democratically created counters to it. The question you should be asking yourself is which do you actually stand for? Banking deflation seizing all the farms and homes in entire communities or the Federal Reserve countering this force and helping private trade continue forward? Can't really have it both ways, now can we. But you can't get over your god complex long enough for reality to sink in.

I never intended to preach, it just seems like common sense once you really look at it.

I also never intended to insinuate that everyone on this board (including yourself) are necessarily "led around" by network TV.
You can get mad all you want man.

I also want to reiterate that I'm no better than anyone else here, and I don't hold any kind of Northbum superiority complex.
Also, nobody has been blinded here, I just think some people can't see past the crooks.
At the same time, how can you look at a Federal Reserve central bank as doing good for this country, or the world for that matter?
Bernanke told Bernie Sanders to his face that he won't tell anyone which banks got tax payer money.
An institution that has the power to create wealth in this country, and then won't even tell tax payers where the money went?
Doesn't sound like someone to trust.

What proof do you have that the book was based off of multiple lies, I'd love to see it.
What about "The Creature From Jekyll Island" - by G. Edward Griffin?
What do you have to say about that little tart?

Back on subject...
I'm not particularly against the Federal Reserve because of one single book, it's just the book that woke my up to the tyranny that is government.
Whoever the hell the elders of Zion are, who knows.
But the fact is, The Fed is filled with crooked banksters at the top, and compartmentalized cronies toward the bottom.
I think the question you should be asking yourself is, how long do you actually think the Fed can keep the economy from completely collapsing?
More and more countries are no longer using the dollar as their reserve currency, as inflation continues to rise on and the dollar continues to devalue.
Gold and silver continue to explode, while Bernanke tells Ron Paul that the only reason central banks hold gold is out of "longterm tradition".
Oh yeah, and he also claims that gold is not money, and that economic law has been reversed because he says so.

I don't think it's particularly OK. The point was that people's racism is being expressed less straightforwardly ande more subtlely. I offered an example of one person who insists she's not racist, it's just that Michelle Obama is being un-First-Lady-like for dressing in basically the same way First Ladies have been dressing for the past 50+ years. I could go into more detail about the hypersexualization of minorities, etc., but I doubt you would believe it or care about it.

Your response that this was a criticism of the Michelle Obama only really missed the point, but again I doubt you believe that or care about it.

Voting for President in Utah doesn't even matter anyway. Forever Red.

Gods dammit, go read my post in this thread. It DOES matter. Tired of the same old ****? GO VOTE. Stop blaming it on "Forever Red" or "Teh Mormonz" or whatever, just get off your lazy *** and vote.

But seriously, it kind of doesn't matter. To me not only is it that Utah will always cast all of its electoral college votes for the Republican, but that all of the states cast all of their votes for either a Republican or Democrat, and as far as I'm concern those are corrupt organizations that have no credibility with me and are not an option for my vote. I look around and see everyone clawing each other's eyes out over which brand of pure evil is preferable and I've decided it's not worth getting involved.

utah will always be red, yes. However the presidential vote is not the only vote that will be on the ballot. There will be city council votes, measure, referendums, congresional seats, senate races...

Utah will always be red. Then change what it means to be red.

Wow. I never took you for a guy that would tuck tail and run, but ye gods, this post is horrible. You've essentially said that you really don't like the way things are, but the only way to change it is just too hard, so you'll just give up and take it up the tail pipe. I'm seriously shocked and kind of sad.

I think Jim Matheson along with a few others might disagree with you on your first sentence. Your other sentence is spot on though, well said.
