Our intelligence agencies would put the lid on it, find some Israel-loving born-again Christian who's been on the net with wailings about how we're failing to keep democracy alive in Israel and giving in to all the arab demands, making the Israelis give back what God promise His chosen people, and maybe even how Jewish communists and bankers have been betraying their own. They wouild arrest him and fly him to Gitmo. Maybe just shoot him and drop him in the Gulf or somewhere with plenty of piranha, and tell the world "Don't Mess With US!!!!!!!!
Our media would go on a witch hunt for crazy right wingnuts, and our legislature would double our military support for Israel. The new President would have AirForce One in the air within a week to go to Israel and show the world we stand strong in the direst hours.
There would be public demonstrances as well of our shock and dismay that our culture still has some deranged nutjobs that make us look bad. We would be falling all over ourselves with declarations that we need to use HSA resources to keep our fundamentalist Christians from doing this sort of thing again.
