What is Your Favorite Alcoholic Drink?

I hate vodka. I am a fan of Johnny Walker (black) and Coke on the rocks.

Funny you ask. Three posters have been begging me for a White Italian minus the Mezzaluna. They each had a sip of the cream and crave it like vampires do blood.

RAKIIIII!! cannot be compared to any other. it's really smth else. jıst whatcha need when ya feel tired, furious, devastated or ur among friends and havin a great night.

I don't drink. CNS depressants may be the worst type of drug out there, at least in terms of keeping control of yourself.

I never buy the "I was drunk" excuse. That is all it is an excuse. When I used to drink I still knew what was right and wrong when I was drunk. Sometimes I really crave a drink. Dang kids and their promises!

White Russian, clearly.

I don't know how much of an excuse it is. The reason people who get drunk talk like slurring morons and stumble around is because their CNS is highly depressed. It's rather scientific. Having 1-2 drinks doesn't put you in that condition (it gives you the relax simulated state that a mild does of a CNS depressant does), but people who drink aren't champions at limiting themselves.

Now voluntarily putting yourself in that condition is no excuse for the awful things you may do while in it, but the condition itself is very real.

I agree with that. I was ging off on how people use it as an excuse for cheating, stealing, driving while drunk...

Yes! Making the decision to drink in situations where bad things can happen as a result (especially if you know you have a tendency to do stupid **** while drunk) doesn't alleviate you of the responsibility for your actions.
