You might want to read up on what we can actually do with a trade exception. No other players can be part of the transaction. Basically all we can do is take a player from another team with a salary up to $13 million. We can't bundle picks or other players or anything. Basically the other team has to want to give us a player for nothing in return. If you think we can use it to sign a free agent, too bad ... doesn't work that way.

Jazz are in smart player great work ethic mode right now. Hayward, Matthews, Evans, etc. Wouldn't be totally shocked if Jazz resigned Jarron Collins to start at C until Okur is ready. Collins did start for Suns to fill in for their injured C for a while.
