So besides two versions of YES and Pistol Porter that I have on tap I picked up a few beers on my way out from Kiitos Brewing's Tap Room Grand Opening.

I didn't try their IPA's but I have had everything else from them. I thought their sour beer was okay but the best beer they have to me is there Coconut Porter beer. I really liked it.

Have you tried A Fisher brewing's new English bitter? I thought it was pretty good.

I also tried epics new Gose with agave worms and crickets. It was fun but nothing special.

I haven't tried any Fisher beers, but the brew club has done the last several of their happy hour things there and they said it was because it was just the best venue for having a brew club happy hour around, despite limitations.

I will try them out. I can't get tot the happy hour things because they are on Wednesday eve while I'm working.

I really like Proper Brewing's English Golden Ale. I'm looking forward to trying Fisher's English Bitter.

Had the best beer I’ve ever had a couple weeks back. I’m not as well versed as BP and some others on here perhaps but drink a lot and always use DogFish Head’s 60 and 90 as my barometer of what great beers should be. Southern Tier is another brewery who hits a home run more often than not.

Anyway, Stillwater on Fleek was simply sublime and was prob the best beer I’ve ever had. 13% abv and just so damn perfect. Reminded me of a much better Guinness. Prob better because it was keg beer but still. Drink it if you find it.

My asthma (which was chronic and very bad) left within a few days, my blood pressure dropped like a rock, and of course I've lost 20lbs. Feeling like a new person.
I'm sticking to bourbon and vodka.. occasional tequila.
Miss the beer... but just not worth the side effects for me.

Maybe it's gluten? There is a brewery that makes all gluten reduced (less than 20ppm) beers, the Omission brewery. For a while I was using the product they use to reduce gluten because it also helps clear and reduce chill haze, it's called "clarityferm." No special beer recipe required and it doesn't really change the character of the beer at all.

You can add additional chloride by using Calcium Chloride (CaCl, sometimes the dihydrate version CaCl2) and you can add sulfate by using Gypsum.

I know little about chemistry. I just know what I've read regarding beer water adjustments. There are two guys on homebrewtalk.com who know their chemistry and I've done my best to understand the help they have provided to the home brewing community.

I'm sure they are both chemists. They have some disagreements on some things, but both of them can really explain in technical terms and layman's terms how water chemistry works in regard to brewing.

Wesley from NJ, I like Johnny Black, Don Pedro brandy, Crown, Forty Creek, not a big fan of Four Roses, Pendleton is ok...what else should I try that's affordable (<$50)? I've always liked whiskey, but never gotten big into trying different stuff. I wanna expand my repertoire of drinking now that I've gotten my wife to like whiskey on ice. It's spousal bonding lol.

I'm not a liquor guy tbh. I have some friends who are really into bourbon, like really into it, posting pics all the time on our group texts, of new bourbons they've never had in liquor stores...spending pretty good amounts. But not me.

I'm more of a wine (red mostly) guy and beer guy (don't like Fat Tire at all whoever posted that above).
