He's not going to get fired. I would be real surprised. I dont think his contract is renewed though.
1- We're like last in the league defensively and offensively with quite a bit of lotto talent
2- Our PnR defense sucks even without Al. I actually regret hating Al right now, I thought it was his completely fault that the PnR defense was bad. Turns out it's not.
3- For whatever reason, our bigs are moving too much and scrambling on defense. A good defensive and offensive team does not make its bigs move this much.

I'm beyond caring. It's like living in a totalitarian society where the government is evil and you are locked in a prison and have absolutely no control over the evil being done.

Did you just watch Catching Fire?

My goodness is Jennifer Lawrence hot!

Thriller loves his tall curvy athletic women!

Agree. There's no reason to get rid of him. When the season began, I was hoping for a pick in the 6-8 range. Now, I'm excited over the prospect of a top-3 pick. Corbin is doing some damage this year, I agree. A decent HC might actually have the Jazz playing defense and running plays. But no worries, a new HC next year can right the ship - and have a potential superstar to build around.
Agree- Corbin will finish the season and receive a thank you but don't come back and hand us a top 1-3 pick. Solid foundation for the new incoming coach

Only reason why corbin does not finish the season if he wants to go himself, the Jazz will keep him until the end and let it go

Yea the more I think about it I can't imagine a Jazz front office firing a coach mid-season. Doesn't fit their style.

If the Bucks were not tanking so hard I'd say he would be gone by Christmas, but Lindsay can taste that top-two pick. He can't afford to let Ty go before the season is over.

I don't think he'll be fired... but I didn't think they'd ever be dumb enough to extend him in the first place. With our luck they'll end up extending him again.

Most likely gone at the end of the season though.

Can you imagine Eaton trying to play Corbin's style of defense?

We can't continue to be a non-competitive rabble and get repeatedly blown out for the whole season. On-court, when a game ceases to be competitive, it's impossible to develop players or assess their ability. Off-court, fans will stop going to games and buying merchandise. These things will be triggers to the front office and ownership that a change must be made before irrevocable damage is done. The only question is how much of Corbin's contract will the Millers be willing to swallow in order to make that change, and they are more likely to opt for later rather than sooner, but the losses from the vast array of empty seats in ESA will tip their hand eventually. By the All-Star break our lottery position should be all but ensured, and it should also be clear (if it isn't already) that Ty is not capable of righting the ship. The change will be made with a view to building some late-season momentum, featuring competitive play and even adding a few meaningless wins late in the season. The late-season improvement and the addition of a top draft pick will enable the Jazz to market the team to fans (and more importantly the 2014 free agent class) that the Jazz are committed to winning again.

He will be here through the season, then get a new contract next summer, for 2-3 years. Not one of the options in the poll.
