I guess I didnt expect it to be a quasi love story between a piece of **** alcoholic and a disgusting hooker hiding out in the backwoods of georgia for 2 hours. My bad.

I didn't say that but it seemed evident it wasn't going in the direction you stated. I was feeling a sort of man and his demons story.
 
Brokeback Mountain was on Showtime last night, It was good enough. Jake Gyllenhall is about as believable as a cowboy as ..... I cant think of anything. Lets just say he is not believable as a cowboy.

Just saw "Cabin in the Woods" last night.

May be my expectations were too high (hate it when that happens), but it just seemed a bit too "try hard" ?

Started out pretty promising (similar to the legendary "Deliverance) but just got lost a bit at the end there and turned out to be more like "The Village".

Hmmmm... oh well.
 
"The Big Year!" Fantastic story line, funny, no swearing, cussing or violence! You actually learn something about birds, too! I have the DVD. Watch the "extended" version!
 
Beasts of the Southern Wild - It was good, I didn't love love it but it was definitely enjoyable. My wife however said it was the best movie she has seen in awhile.
