What's The Last Movie You’ve Seen?

Big Lebowski - dude!
How to Train Your Dragon - liked it
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - it was good, I mean those hallows were pretty deathly but I've seen deathlier
 
I saw Black Swan yesterday. I liked it. How much I'm not sure. It was at a restaurant-themed theater by me that just opened. $20 for the movie and a good bacon cheeseburger and fries. I also had two pints of beer so that in a dark theater, mixed with little sleep, and Aronofsky's sometimes dizzying shots, really ****ed with my mind. But yeah, I liked it.

Over my upcoming break, I may try to see about 10 movies.
 
Continuing my one movie a day until i start school again, saw Van Wilder (eh, todays comedies better than 10 years ago) and Never Let Me Go (supposedly the book was fantastic, the movie wasn't that great, Keira Knightley is soooo hot tho)

Saw The Fighter tonight...probably the best movie I have seen this year and up there with Friday Night Lights as favorite sports movies.

There was a period after Happy Gilmore until the last couple of years where I think comedy was at a low-point. Especially the late 90's and early 2000s. I'll call it "The American Pie" era.

I actually liked American Pie (or at least the first one) and was a huge fan of Scary Movie (not so much the squeals) but for the most part I think Super Troopers was overrated

I agree though I think lately comedies have been much better and funnier.

I'd rather watch a documentary with the actual guy explaining what happened. Everyone knew the outcome and it took way too long to go about it. The cinematography was great and I enjoyed the beginning with the two girls but once he actually got pinned down to the rock I wasn't much of a fan. I would have liked to have known more about him before and even after what happened...I think it was vastly overrated too which gave me too high of expectations going into it.

The movie reminded me a lot of Into the Wild which I cant explain how much better of a movie that was.

Well we are all entitled to our opinions.

I dont understand why you would go see a "movie" about the incident and then complain that it's wasn't a documentary. Yes, everyone knew the outcome already...he survived.
