What's The Last Movie You’ve Seen?

Not sure what they called it but was thinking chapters like chapters of the main characters life. Either way go watch it and tell me what you guys think.

Hell or High Water

In a small Texas town in this story there is only 1 bank, 1 hotel, and 1 restaurant. In this restaurant, since it has opened 60+ years ago, it has only served 1 dish, and that's T-Bone stake medium rare.

.... and that's what this movie is to me. No non-sense. Straight to the point movie about a couple of brothers who rob banks to pay off the mortgage before the bank foreclose on their handed down ranch. There is nothing fancy about this movie. No great twist. Just a message that it wants to give the viewer, well acted actors, with beautifully shot scenes. BTW I loved the detectives in this, Jeff Bridges and Gil Birmingham (aka the Indian Chief in the House of Cards and every other movies you've seen).

I don't know what to tell ya. It is what it is. Oh yea, it does remind me a bit of Spurs basketball. Nothing flashy, but it does get the job done.

4/5 for me.

How do y'all find time to watch this many movies? I don't think I've watched one since Mrs Doubtfire, and that had to be a couple months ago.

I have two 15 minute breaks at work and a 30 minute lunch. I have a phone that allows me to watch movies (and tv shows)
I also go poop each day.

I have not been to a movie in a theater in well over a year and i always watch my movies in little increments throughout a day or two.

how do you define a movie?

It's subjective.

To me, primarily, a movie is what's showing at the theatre (full feature, 1.30 hours or longer) has more or less a 'story', and a video installation is what's showing at art galleries/museums (much shorter, 5-20 minutes) may or may not have a story.

Obviously there are some cross-overs.

To me Upstream Colour is a 'collection of video installations' stitched together to form a movie (there's a lack of a 'story').

Again, to me it's all pretty subjective, there isn't really a need to have a long winded discussion over.. LOL

You go poop each day? Ah to be young again.

I'm at least as old as you (if not older) and I poop everyday (unless I eat too much cheese). Sounds like your plumbing is defective.

World renowned so.
