What's The Last Movie You’ve Seen?

Nashville (1975) Another damn good Altman film. Not my favorite or one of the first I'd recommend. solid 8/10, I thoroughly enjoyed it.. A common theme in all of his films is great relationships between the characters, in that aspect this is a 10/10 for sure. His musical accompaniment selection is top notch and this film is a great demonstration of it.

Short Cuts (1993). This is an AWESOME drama and I'm a very tough grader on Dramas, not really my thing... This is 10/10 though.. Altman strikes again. Absolutely LOADED cast... So many good characters and stories intertwined.

There's a documentary on the making of this film I'ma catch later called Luck, Trust & Ketchup. Altman is known for going off-script/off-screenplay and improvising so it should be good, there was a major feud between he and Warren Beatty during (and after) the filming of McCabe & Mrs. McMiller over this.

I saw "Tomb Raider" last night. Glad it was a free movie. It was okay, but there were plot holes that had me rolling my eyes. I never saw the Angelina Jolie movies, and I've never played the game, so perhaps I missed the point.

That girl's abs though. Wow!

I think you got the point.

I don't know that I have a favorite movie, but my favorite comedy is Ruthless People.

Yeah, the point of the first Tomb Raider movie(2001) was to capture those Baywatch style running bouncing boobs shots of Angelina Jolie, I was like 12 and saw that with a bunch of my friends and remember walking out and all of us being in aggreeance that was the best part of the film.

So if they've preserved that, they've done a good job.

The story is like a crappy Indiana Jones spin-off with a strong female lead.

Flight of the Phoenix remake with Dennis Quiad and the rapper Sticky Fingaz actually isn't terrible. The Oscar nominated 1965 version starring Jimmy Stewart is obviously much better..

They did not preserve the bouncing boob shots. You may want to pass on this one.

I saw Ready Player One last night. It was a lot of fun. I wouldn't have wanted it to be two movies, but it needed to be two movies to get more of the best parts of the book in it. It is worth seeing.

So I watched the original Alien movie from 1979. Aliens from 1986 was the Alien movie that my generation grew up with so it's the one I remember while the original was kind of a afterthought. That's too bad because after watching the original I really like it and it really works well as it's stand alone film.

Ready Player One

Just felt rushed all the way through. They should have made it into 2 possibly 3 movies, but they managed to squeeze it all in there which is a feat in an of itself. Good value for money as 80% of it was CGI.

Should improve with a 2nd viewing though I hope.
