What's The Last Movie You’ve Seen?

Just finished a movie called Die My Love starring Jennifer Lawrence and Robert Pattinson.
It was horrible. Worst movie I have seen in a long time. Even Jennifer Lawrence being nude many times throughout the movie (that woman sure isn't shy) couldn't salvage it.

For sure. The issue was partly because banks and real estate industry weren't being transparent with their contracts. People didn't know what they were signing. 100 page long contracts with hella fine print and confusing verbage with lots of unknown acronyms and agents unwilling to explain terms.

Was really necessary to have a good lawyer with you when buying a home to go over everything. But alas poor people and immigrants who barely speak English aren't synonymous with good lawyers.

The industry was intentionally non transparent and predatory.
To your point, I remember at the time being mad a people who were making $12 asking for $300,000 loans. That's dumb

But some agents are good at throwing bs numbers at borrowers to make them think that they can afford it. And they were using adjustable rates that were misleading.

But the main issue here is that you and I and the majority of the country put the vast majority of the blame on poor people and let the rich people who were literally breaking the law get off with very little blame. Like always.

I remember being pitched an adjustable rate mortgage and part of it was them telling me that "all you have to do is refinance before the higher rate kicks in." This was in 2006. If I had taken that loan I never would have been able to refinance because property values dropped in 2008 and while they have more than rebounded, I would have been stuck with a monthly payment that I never would have been able to afford and I would be out of the house that I've been living in for the last 19 years. Luckily it all sounded like too much **** to deal with and we qualified for a traditional 30 year mortgage with a hefty down payment that I had due to losing a parent earlier that year and having a life insurance payout to put towards it.

I remember some other movie with her in an extended nude scene on a beach, was that it? Either way, she has the weirdest nude look, like she's young but has the body of a woman 15 years older than she actually is. Strange. At least it's not full male frontal nudity, which is just plain horrible in nearly every context.

Nope, no beaches in this one.

Watched a movie called Caught Stealing. Fantastic.
Really really good ending.
My wife is in love with the lead actor. He was the guy who played Elvis Presley in that elvis movie that came out a year or two ago

Because iirc it wasn't really a Tarantino film. He's starting to become like Patterson in the literary world. Become a producer on a film, get him name on it so it does really well, gets good actors on board, but in which he had actually very little to do with it, didn't write it, etc. so it's a hollow shell of a Tarantino film.

I haven't watched it since it's released. I remember thinking it was OK, but it seems to be the least talked about film of his and hasn't really gained a dedicated fan base
I liked it because Im such a big Walton Goggins fan.

He wrote and directed it

Huh. Well not everyone can hit all the time. Easily his worst film. I thought it was one of those like the grindhouse stuff that he attached his name to but didn't either write or direct.
