I wouldn't call it dumb at all. It was a lot "smarter" than a lot of action movies. The only negative is that it probably had too much going on.

There were a lot of stupid parts.

Off the top of my head, when Affleck single-handedly took out like six Army Rangers or whoever the hell they were all by himself. Or when said Rangers all just went out after him together, no strategy, as if they were the worst Rangers (or whoever) ever, complete retards. Stupid.

Shane from TWD brought that movie up for me. Love that guy in everything he is in. Like legit elevates movies. This, TWoWS,a few other things I'm forgetting.

It's not believable. Let me get this straight. He was trained better than the most elite soldiers in the world, so much so, that he could kill all of them so easily. It's stupid. I probably could've let that slide had it been done more realistically. But it wasn't because my major gripe was that all those retarts just went out the front door together, IIRC, as if they were going for a burger.
