Yes, this. I just finished the series. I can't wait. Elba will be awesome in the role as the gunslinger. I'm watching Luther right now and it is just him. I did notice that there isn't anyone credited to be Susannah or Eddie...do they not get pulled through the doors this time? No drawing of three?

I also saw that they are going to make a tv series based off the books...which is cool, seeing how the movie is supposed to be a sequel to the books.

TMK, the movie is not a sequel to the books. It is simply starting somewhere in book three or four, and integrating certain things from the previous books that the viewer may need to know, or some ****. I never read the books.

King tweeted out that it's a sequel. I understood his tweet after I recently finished the last book.

I think it's a good idea if done right. You don't need to know the whole story to understand the sequel but will be fun for the fans and you can make the story fresh without angering too many people...

Unless they do what MTV did to the Shanarra story. That was awful.
 
Murder on a Sunday Morning


Just stumbled upon this last night and didn't know what to expect. I've seen quite a few of these now 'The Thin Blue Line', 'Making a Murder', 'The Jinx', 'Central Park Five', 'OJ Made in America, etc, (BTW if you haven't seen any of those I highly recommend all of them), so I didn't think this was going to be any different.


Boy, oh boy, was I wrong. This was a much simpler documentary than those mentioned, but it had the most emotional impact on me as a person. By far. It had something all the other documentaries I believe lack - a Heart. It kept building up, and building up, and by the end I was literally in tears as the verdict was being read.


One of the best documentary of this type and one that I will remember for a very long time.

Making a Murderer was so damn good.

I'm editing this post to get rid of all of the spoilers but would love to have a discussion with anyone who's watched it.

It really opens up your eyes and may even make you value life a little more. It's 10 episodes all around an hour long. Start it if you are looking for something to watch. You won't regret it.

This movie has one of the best endings I've seen in a while.. well written with great performances,one of the better ones of 2016
