What's The Last Movie You’ve Seen?

IT has always struck me as a story that just doesn't translate well to the big screen. So much of the scary parts are internal to the characters. Yeah they are scenes that can be filmed but it just won't carry the same weight and if it is the tiniest bit off it isn't far from being just goofy.

According to the reviews so far, it translates well.
Even one love said everyone else in the theater really seemed to like it.
 
Kind of reminds me of people criticizing "The Witch" because it wasn't a straight forward horror movie with jump scares.

Cool, that isn't the point. People criticized that movie because it didnt fit their expectations of what a horror movie should be so instead of appreciating what the movie did well they just said they didnt like it.
 
I just got done watching It.

I absolutely loved it. Fantastic movie. The kids in it are awesome. Richie is so damn funny...... some fantastic dick jokes, your mom jokes, etc. Really cute and heartwarming moments too.

Some of the scares in It are as scary as any I have ever seen. The first 3/4 of the movie is some of the scariest stuff around and has some hilarious jokes too.
I laughed out loud a lot and gasped in terror quite a few times.

Best movie I have seen in a while.

Warning. It really is very scary and has gore and super creepiness so only watch if you like horror movies. (Im a huge fan of the horror genre)

Ya it kinda was. Turns out I like hamburger ice cream.

Different strokes for different folks though ya know. I got no problem with one love not liking it or his reasons for not liking it. It worked wonderfully for myself but not for one love, and that's ok.
