Word is they're working on strengthening the brain area to know when to make risky athletic moves and when not to. Yeah, that's probably it. When they're done with him his game will be very similar to John Amaechi's.

It really shouldn't take more than a couple weeks for the rest of his body to strengthen. Something really feels odd about Burks taking so long to come back from this injury.
