What's the Status on Burks?

Exactly. Anything to disagree with the consensus of jazzfanzers.

I mean, I want him to be out there, but I trust the opinion of professionals over people on the internet. But say w/e dumb ish you want about me doing it to just disagree.

Sometimes teams say things that are not really true in order to spin something.
If the jazz were really worried about players health then Hayward would ride pine since his foot can only get worse from playing. I think Burks isn't playing due to not wanting to disrupt chemistry/a good thing they have going of late.

It's kind of like the utes bball coach cancelling the byu game next year for fear of his players safety. We all know that isn't the real reason.

I don't think the jazz medical staff is wrong. Nobody can prove that they are. I do think the jazz organization has botched this, though. And that's worth laughing about. Hyper-conservative year.

Highly doubtful. The only way I give this theory any kind of thought is if Chris Johnson/Joe Ingles where dominating off the bench. That isn't happening though so there is really no one for him to disrupt.

Hayward has a minor case of a foot injury that essentially just gives him a sore foot. And he did sit out 2 games to let it heal enough for him to play.

What we do know is that Burks surgery went well and he is fully recovered from it and the leg is totally healed and he has been practicing and looking good practicing.

We also know that the jazz are saying that they are not playing him for fear of another injury happening to him.

What we don't know is what injury they are worried about him sustaining now. What part of his body is weaker and what part of his body they are worried about and waiting on. We don't know what is holding him back specifically. We really know nothing other than his surgery went well, there were no setbacks, he looks good in practice and warmups, he is healed, and his estimated return is way past the time we were told he would return (all star break)

plantar's fasciitis doesn't "heal" -- on any measurable level -- in that stretch of time. It did feel good enough for him to play on, though. I'd wager that Burks's body has felt well enough to play on, even if he isn't fully healed. Full wager.

I've had the injury it does not go away... It may lessen and worsen due to activity. Takes a while to be completely healed and absent. It's just soreness... Until you keep playing on it and it tears or the pain becomes to much. The hyper conservativeness with Burks is not consistent with what they are doing with Hayward. That's what I was trying to point out... Cy gonna Cy doe
